Liked the idea a lot, but I think it needs a bit more polish here and there. For example, it took me a bit to figure out how to get into build phase - I did not consider that I would leave build phase and could net get back into it once I pressed "start". Simply telling the player that they are in build phase would have solved that.

There is other stuff, like when you place an object in the wrong spot, you cannot get it back. I had one occassion where i wasted some cookies because of that, did not meet my quota and had to restart. Would have needed to play through the levels I already cleared, so this was a quit moment for me.

The traps also seem a bit unintuitive. so there seems to be a chance you get biscuits for passing them, but it is random? so is this a mechanic later to place them to meet the quota? rng in a puzzle game? That raises some concerns (but, i did not make it that far, maybe I am wrong?)

so yeah, the base idea has potential, but it needs some more polish in my opinion.

I totally agree with you about the block placement confusion between the build phase and start phase, it could have been solved in a simple way. As for placing objects in the wrong spots, you can replace any misplaced or changed object with the default tile, which gives your cookies back. The trap ratios are shown in the info box at the top right next to the tiles, and yes, in some cases you can place extra traps just to meet the quota—it works kind of like cookies in exchange for your moves. Overall, I really appreciate your feedback. I especially value comments that point out the flaws, because it shows you didn’t just play the game casually and it helps me improve myself. Thank you!
