It's super fun and very addicting! At the moment you can upgrade your dogs indefinitely without actually playing your hand, or earn infinite biscuits by discarding cards, so it will take some work to make it more balanced, but it's very enjoyable nonetheless. I would probably play forever if I didn't accidentally click Play hand with weak cards - maybe it should ask for confirmation when you do that below goal minimum :)
