From my understanding, it's basically the graphics that each computer has built in, but some computers have different versions based on the hardware.
You basically right-click the executable and create a shortcut (click see more options if it's not there at first), then right-click the shortcut version and click properties. Where it says target, you want to keep what it shows by default, but after it type a space and then -d3d11
Then run this shortcut version. When I went through this process it worked and everything looked the same, so you will still get the full experience.
Sorry that trying to play my game is such a hassle. Unfortunately, there's not much I can do on my end, but I will update my game's page to give the same instructions for the sake of anyone else who encounters this issue.
