Good question, when I first came up with the LRA for MISSION: PRESERVE they were similar to the HRAs from Control so your FIST operative wasn't torn apart by a reality-changing anomaly, but they also could be attached like flashlights on rifles, in order to manifest intangible enemies so you could shoot them. For this addon I wanted to make them broader conceptually. Essentially, they make something paranormal adhere to "consensus reality," if that means you stick it on a thing, then you have to take it off you, so be careful!
