im happy to see this game get released, especially with all thats going on ! i haven't finished yet, but i am enjoying it thus far, and ended up liking wes so much i had started over just to do his route first haha. my only complaint would be that the game is a bit girl coded, which, as a gay man it can be slightly awkward for me. however, i understand it is a small team and it would take a lot of resources, so it is only a small complaint. the writing and art is great, thank you for releasing it, and at such a low price too

(english isnt my first language, so i hope i do not offend with the complaint, it is not meant to be negative !)

Hello!!! Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts and for being so kind in how you worded your feedback 💖 We’re really glad you’re enjoying Wes’ route so far!

You mentioned the game feeling a bit girl-coded, and we’re genuinely curious about your perspective. Our team is primarily made up of women (writing and visual team), so it’s possible that some of our writing choices naturally lean that way, but we’d love to understand better what parts came across as girl-coded for you. It would help us a lot as we think about future projects and ways to make them feel even more inclusive! 🙏

We really appreciate you taking the time to play and share your experience! Hope you enjoy the rest of the game nonetheless!! 🫶

i am not sure how to word this, so forgive me for any odd structures. it seems as if the main character was written as a woman first, but added pronouns later. not necessarily bad thing either ! i think best to explain it is that the writing choices for the main character seems to feminine actions, and others seem to react to them as feminine too, such as being called beautiful.

perhaps an option next to pronouns for feminine or masculine (or neutral ?) since i know there are men who are feminine and women who are masculine. i hope that makes sense !

like i mentioned before, it is not huge deal of course ! i love the writing (and art) regardless and am enjoying the game . i would have paid for it regardless of the DLC haha. thank you for the reply , i seek to buy more from you guys in future :)

Thank you for sharing your perspective! 💖 For us as a team, we don’t really gender compliments or gestures, such as being called beautiful, or receiving flowers etc., since the author herself also affectionately calls her cis husband beautiful/pretty (which is also reflected by how MC compliments Nik with beautiful as well throughout the game). We totally understand though how cultural/societal expectations and norms can make those feel more feminine-coded to some players. 🙏

We really value hearing different experiences of the game, and we’re glad you’re enjoying the story overall! Your support means a lot to our small team!!! 🙏💞
