i am not sure how to word this, so forgive me for any odd structures. it seems as if the main character was written as a woman first, but added pronouns later. not necessarily bad thing either ! i think best to explain it is that the writing choices for the main character seems to feminine actions, and others seem to react to them as feminine too, such as being called beautiful.

perhaps an option next to pronouns for feminine or masculine (or neutral ?) since i know there are men who are feminine and women who are masculine. i hope that makes sense !

like i mentioned before, it is not huge deal of course ! i love the writing (and art) regardless and am enjoying the game . i would have paid for it regardless of the DLC haha. thank you for the reply , i seek to buy more from you guys in future :)

Thank you for sharing your perspective! 💖 For us as a team, we don’t really gender compliments or gestures, such as being called beautiful, or receiving flowers etc., since the author herself also affectionately calls her cis husband beautiful/pretty (which is also reflected by how MC compliments Nik with beautiful as well throughout the game). We totally understand though how cultural/societal expectations and norms can make those feel more feminine-coded to some players. 🙏

We really value hearing different experiences of the game, and we’re glad you’re enjoying the story overall! Your support means a lot to our small team!!! 🙏💞
