Definitely has an expansive galactic feeling. I like the compositional ideas, and the combination of the atmospheric sounds with a grounded beat. I liked that there was some variety to the drum track, and the melody fit perfectly with the harmonies.

There's a few spots where I can't tell whether things don't line up rhythmically because of a compositional choice, or because an effect is causing a note to be felt hitting later or earlier than where the note was placed. The combination of a dry drum track with the heavy reverb and extreme stereo effects of everything else is a challenging combo to work with, in that aspect.

The chord choices are great for giving a lonely unresolved feeling, exploring around almost every major and minor chord in the key, almost as if the music wishes it could find a new home, maybe settle down in a nice major key in Festival City. But it always comes back to that a minor chord without any resolving cadence, in a way that feels fatalistic. It's a nice chord progression that goes well with the effects you've chosen to create that feeling of reflection.

thank you for such detailed feedback i really appreciate that. there's some parts that didn't line up perfectly, it was rushed i almost cut the majority of the drums just for a click but i figured, why not. :)
