Yea it can be a bit complex at first. There is a "?" you can hover in the shop screen (at top left) which gives some info.
Not sure about the battle stopping. did it happen right at the start or did the battle play out some/all and then stop? there was an issue with draws but that should be fixed now. Thanks for Playing!
