Nice to see you again! It has been a while since I last heard a track from you.

I love the vocals on the song. It fits the concept of 'prayer dedicated to the goddess'. And I really love the choice to turn actual fireworks into percussion. While you don't hear it back much, just the thought intrigues me! The song doesn't a classical 'festival' vibe, but I definitely hear what you're putting down.

Some notes are a bit awkward though, like at 0:35, 0:47 and 0:56. They appear to clash a lot with the underlying harmony. It personally isn't my cup of tea, but I dig the creative choice.

Overall, love to see you again here. I still remember you from awesome entries like 'City of Octopolis - Pearl of the Octopoids' from the first Town Music Jam, and 'Haven of the Ancient Claw' from the third Town Music Jam. Really like to see you here again :)

Thanks! I've been doing a lot of music in recent time and have recently uploaded new music to my youtube~

Most of the firework percussion is taken from a sample of the pop you hear when fireworks are fired off, and the hi-hat standin was taken from a sample of those fizzling fireworks that you hear.

I think the "clashing notes," that you're hearing is when I added in some chromatic/off-key notes. I was mainly composing in F Lydian Mode, iirc, and there were a few moments where I went off-key. I mainly did this because I wanted to give a slight jazzy vibe to the melody, and staying in F Lydian just wasn't cutting it for that.

You missed one -- I also did Malcontent Bones - Theme of Yuwal, haha.

Cool! It seems I am not the only one who tried composing in Lydian this time :)

Haha, I did not really "miss" 'Malcontent Bones - Theme of Yuwal', as I do also have that saved on my iTunes. In fact, I also have 'Zee's Kitty Cat Emporium of Catty Kittys' for fun ;). The two songs I mentioned are simply my favorites from you, and inspired me when I started out!

That's nice to hear, and I like to hear that someone out there is enjoying my music~

I also like to hear that you enjoy Haven of the Ancient Claw, because while I do like it, I do have some minor gripes with it when listening to it nowadays. Mainly that I feel like I use the roar sound a bit too repetitively in the beginning. You can get away with repeating sounds like that in a track, but only if it blends in well, and I feel like it kinda sticks out and you can "feel," the repetitiveness of it, if that makes sense.

At any rate, I'm going to be very active on my youtube, musically, so if you like my music, I'd recommend keeping an eye out there.
