Ah, how lovely! I was a bit afraid when I read "samples from the SNES", since I do not always like chiptune sounds, but I was damn surprised when I heard this banger! The chords, the instruments, I really like it all. I should have expected nothing less from you - I already liked your songs when I first met you in the Town Music Jam 2 jam.
I looked up some of your songs I have downloaded in the past and remember liking 'Green Tail Rival Theme' from the EnemyEncounter jam a lot, as well as 'Battle - Wild Doubts' and 'Boss Battle - Rejected memory' from your OST Composing Jam 7. And you're still amazing at it :). Remembering this, I am now even more stoked to hear your entry for next week's jam!

Now, back to this song. There is this bubbly instrument which works wonders. Those little staccato notes at 0:00 and 0:47 also really fit well. And while I don't know what chords you use, I really love them. They sound like you opened your whole box of tricks. And the whole thing just sounds so upbeat and joyful. I want more :D.

You could even loop this song twice before fading out if you want to, as some others do, to add more length and motivate us to listen to more of your song. Really nice entry, and great to see you here again :)

I'm very glad to hear that you like my songs and that I didn't disappoint! Although this time around there's nothing much special about my entry, it is very heavily based on kirby music so if you liked it I really recommend listening to the OST of Kirby Super Star or Kirby's Dream land 3. What I like the most about these OSTs are the key changes and chord progressions, and trying to understand them it's what motivated me to start composing in the first place!

About the loop I usually just set a single loop so it's more reviewing friendly and so they don't think I've added something in a new loop, but that's just a personal preference. Anyways thank you very much for listening!
