I think this is a project with a lot of potential. The main character’s sprite looks really good and makes it stand out from other games. Personally, I would like the character and obstacles to move faster, as I think it would add a lot to the gameplay, or at least have the overall speed increase more noticeably as time progresses on each screen. Other than that, it’s a great idea!
