I liked the progression system. I can see how it could escalate into a really hard game, so the competition for highest score could be meaningful. It would be interesting to give the player dilemmas by having some extra points for something far away and they have to choose between chasing a bat and getting those points. Clean simple controls and a clear. Solid game. 

I actually considered a similar mechanic to what you described and completely forgot about it! Thanks for playing and taking the time to review, will check yours out now.
