I am so impressed. Visual Novels come in all shapes and qualities. Your storytelling is top 3; your pace and scene development is top 5; renders and POV also top 5. I love that this isn’t some typical sex focused story, and that you build anticipation throughout. Your characters feel real, as do their emotions. I like that you often Show and don’t Tell.
And regarding sex scenes, I’m actually not happy about your use of animation. So many developers rely on animation, but I honestly thought that when the protagonist finally ended up with someone, that you would continue to use your typical slow paced scene advancement that works so well throughout. You do that, but somehow your animation seems clunky amid the rest of the non-Animation. Also, you shouldn’t resort to the hackneyed cries of passion, like „you fill me up,“ or words to that effect. You’ve built unique, intelligent characters, and nobody really says such stupid things, at least no one with any sense.
Keep doing what you’re doing—this is clearly a labor of love. Perhaps revisit the sex scenes in the future and opt for less animation and lust cries, and instead maintain the pace, focus, and voice you’ve developed from the outset. This is a top 10 AVN with momentum upwards. Cheers!
