This game is amazing! I know it’s been a while since your last update, so I’m not sure if you are still adding stuff to this project.

As someone who doesn’t live in a place with forests like this, it’s really cool that I can still get to experience it (even if it’s through a screen).  I love how varied the landscape is, there are hills, glades, rocky terrains, and parts where the paths are overgrown. It’s especially cool when the map generates huge forest clearings, it feels so whimsical. I love the fact that you can change the time and weather, it gives you more stuff to do if you get bored of exploring around (I haven’t yet lol).

Here are things I would love to see added (if you are still doing updates):

-Rivers, caves, and animals!

-I also think it would be cool if you could take photos of the forest, kind of like a wildlife photographer!

-A toggle option to have your horse follow you around.

-More plant varieties! Specifically, flowers. It would be extra cool if you were walking in the forest and came upon a clearing with a bed of flowers!

-Also, a way to save your progress. I was a bit disappointed when I accidentally closed out of the game and lost where I was (though, it’s not that big of a deal since it’s procedurally generated, so no walk through the forest is the same).

-And finally, more sightseeing locations! I know you said you had more planned.

Thanks so much! It's wonderful to hear that it brings you the feelings that I hoped to capture with this project.

I absolutely would love to find the time to do more updates. Your suggestions are all very good; My plans were indeed to add more points of interest like the lookout tower (did you find that yet?), things like campsites, cabins, a big willow tree, a pond, just unique landmarks that would slowly allow you to familiarize yourself with where you are inside the forest. I would also really like to add a dog to walk with you and play fetch with. And I will definitely think about a way to save your progress.

If you'd like a similar experience that is more focused on photography, definitely check out Lushfoil Photography Sim!

Hi! Thank you so much for replying 😀! I hope I didn’t come off as too pushy with my list of suggestions, I just got over excited lol. Everything you mentioned here sounds fantastic, but I totally understand how hard it is to find time to add more updates (the struggle is real). I will definitely check out that photography sim!

PS. I found the watchtower, I did get a bit lost though (but it was more fun that way).
