Downloaded the android downloader. It opens asks for permissions and before i can even click anything it closes. I tried to manually give it permissions but its still doing the open asking for permissions and closing before i can do anything...

What's your android version? The downloader needs read/write access on your document folder.I think the correct permission needed is "Files and media". In your document folder, are you able to see a RenPy_Saves folder? (sometimes it doesn't show in the shortcuts, check the video on the wiki https://wiki.andrealphusgames.com/wiki/How_to_find_a_save_file#Android)
