Yeah, I was too short in 2023 too (but the "game" wasn't good anyway)
And this year also, I submited just in time (seconds before closing) despite setting an alarm to give me 10mins to do so.
So, yeah, last minute submissions are not a great idea = P
But I think you should be good by mail = )
