The atmosphere is awesome (reminds me of Game Dev Tycoon which I love), and interacting with the elements in the room is a nice touch.
I tried to use the news ticker to decide which businesses to focus on, but struggled to remember the value before/after. Agree that graphs or some way to view historical trends (e.g. plus/minus in the last day) is a great idea, and would help the player make well-informed decisions.
You've built a fantastic foundation / system, and there's so many ways this game could continue to grow. Really hope you keep going with development!
