I mean, you were kinda right in the first place. I am of Turkic ethnicity (hence all the refs in CA) despite being born in Iran. I left my home country when I was 18 to pursue higher education, and it’s been quite a while since I last visited. I guess in some way, I wanted to combine parts of my personal history into this project.

And yes… you will be able to kill one of the pixies in the prologue (not saying who or how, though). Actually, you’ll see quite a few pixies get killed in the full release LOL

Also, I’m really glad you liked the new CC menu options! Honestly, I was a little worried since we’ll have to redo the hairstyles, add more, handle color variations, skin tones, etc. you get the idea. Plus, I’m the only programmer working on it right now, so things are a bit hectic. But I’m hopeful fans will enjoy the end result, and that makes it worth it!

That’s crazy I also left my homeland for higher education (if you don’t do STEM here you’re basically cooked and since I was always bad at science … My family is very supportive tho) I feel like a lot of people can relate to your project. I mean there were comments that pointed out how relatable all of it was. I sincerely hope your family is safer since the “ceasefire” and got the means to protect themselves

…will we finish the job with Adonis ? I mean he got his eye slashed easily … he probably got lots of weapons somewhere …

That’s crazy that you’re doing all that while being the only programmer, you should be proud of yourself. Hang on, the best is yet to come

It's okay, say what you really mean: If you're not doctor, engineer or lawyer/architect, you're screwed 😂. Apparently not just a West Asian and North African thing, but Asian thing in general, haha. Also, I'm in the same boat as you, so no worries! I'm glad your parents are supportive—seeing my siblings gruel through medical school has me bragging to my parents how smart I was to avoid that, lol.

We can also add « pilot » to the approved by families list because some of my family members actually wanted me to be that ☠️ I have the shittiest sense of orientation ever so how could I ever control a plane ?

And yea I think the overachiever mindset is basically present everywhere except the western world. There’s probably studies on that phenomenon too.

No sense of direction too, huh? 😂 We are the same, lol. Funny thing is, my little brother wanted to be a pilot at one point (and then engineer), but he eventually ended up as a doctor. Man kept showing me up since we were small (teasing, I am proud of him).

And that makes sense! I think it's because we're communal in general, so shame is part of it, but also because we tend to come from "third world" countries, so achieving higher education—in our parents' mind—is to be better situated in life.
