When I was facing the racks, my FPS dropped. Not drastically, but enough to break immersion. I can’t see inside the game’s structure since I only played it.

A couple of notes from my side (just my own speculation as a player,):

  • You can lower the game’s resolution to create the pixelated look. This usually improves performance, unlike post-processing effects that devour FPS. The UI/text can be kept at its original resolution if needed.
  • Don’t invest too much into polygon count and lighting when the pixels are just going to hide the detail anyway.

Aside from that performance dip, the game feels solid and well-crafted. It’s clear you put effort into finishing and releasing it, and that already puts you ahead of most people who never get their ideas past the "prototype" stage. Even if the core loop doesn’t break new ground, the project holds together as a complete, playable experience, which is worth acknowledging.
