Yea the mechanic is not explained well. But staying away from the TV for too long will trigger the jumpscare/end.
I know that. My issue was the TV turning when i was on my way back from touching somthing on a wall i think
yea a few times It turns to stress the player a bit. But yea its far from perfect. The lightcone from the tv it self have nothing to do with you being close to the TV tho. Just be close that can also be behind it and beside it :)
