This is an HTML game that was developed on linux, it should work fine. It’s probably a browser extension that blocks loading additional scripts, the game loads its different modes on demand. If it’s not that, please send the errors you see in the browser console.
I don't think so, I turned off all extensions to try to play to play it and I got the same results. Maybe it's my browser itself, duckduckgo on firefox. Edit: found out what was wrong: I got my cookies too strict.
