There is an important distinction between dad/giles to play on the idea of dad versus the character’s actual father (stepdads). Oma is german for grandmother, so you don’t get texts from her, but regular long calls.
Whoops, looks like the sender/receiver JSON for the mom’s texts got reversed. Should be fixed now. I can see how that would be very confusing.
Two of the numbers are real, so you can look them up: Naval Observatory Standard Time (which you can call and get the current time) and Poison Control.
