I appreciated the mystery that surrounds the world and the characters in this story a lot.
Even if some details got revealed, that aspect remains intact, and helps build a dreadful atmosphere that kept me engaged during my multiple runs.
Discovering the details in question was also very satisfying, especially to get the good ending.

The "good ending".
We will never know if the world out there will eat her alive.
In the same way, we'll never know the nature of the relationship between the antagonist and the protagonist.
As far as we know, the relationship may have been legitimate at one point.
Whatever happened to the world could have broken this one, and led the antagonist to "fix" this.
The truth is that we will never know, and that's good.
This is why I love the mystery behind it.
