hi. i found your guide to installing decker on linux really good and comprehensive, but now it constantly makes a really annoying sound when i open the application. can you please help me.

Short version: it is a bug in certain versions of SDL2. Fixing it may be up to your distro upgrading to a version that fixes the bug.
