This game could honestly sit right next to the word wholesome in the dictionary.
I loved it in every little aspect. The characters were all so wonderfully written, and I fell in love with them almost immediately. The art is beautiful, the writing is engaging, and the whole atmosphere just wrapped me up in cozy vibes.
From the cast, my favorites ended up being Atlas, Aleth, and Nord.
Atlas stole my heart the moment I saw him. He radiates those comforting “coming home” vibes that I adore. Playing through his story, I had a hunch he might end up tied to the poly romance. Needless to say, I was not even a little bit mad about that, especially since Nord is also the sweetest thing ever. When the game let me be part of this throuple, I was over the moon. Seeing Nord stand up for himself in the end? I was so proud of him.
Aleth is right up there as well. Their design caught my eye from the start, and when I got into their story, I was hooked. I loved how the reason behind their curse felt so grounded and relatable in its own way, and the scene with Kaileen was just precious. That truth potion moment at the end? Adorable.
Lovewood kept a smile on my face the entire time, and I know it’s one of those games I’ll happily revisit on a rainy day. Pure comfort, through and through.
