Should I move HP on a character or hide monster HP if it cluttered?

Usually turn based game like this doesn't show enemy's HP. So I hope there's a good reason to do that.

About your question, I don't like having action menu at the center of the screen like that cause it covers the field and might cover any large enemy. So I prefer the old one. 

I'm not a RPG player, but I would do something like this to reduce clutter, but still while remaining straightforward and simple. I think it also makes it quicker to check the stats of a character because the stats and health are right next to them, instead of in another box. Thanks for the opportunity to have some fun while drawing in MS Paint.
