Interesting idea and nice concept. This could be quite fun, but I would lower movement speed on the enemies and add music with sfx. I honestly didn't know why should I switch weapon since there wasn't any explanation which one has what stats or is better for what purpose. Also I had no idea the food had any stats, because there wasn't any time to read it, not to mention it took me quite a while to figure out how to consume them. With lower speed of the enemies, having time to read the food stats, some sort of tutorial for each mechanic including both weapons, this game could be much more enjoyable. Still nice take on the theme.
