Nice to see Red Rebellion here again! Sadly, due to my poor memory I don't remember much of the story itself and had to start over, and due to a growing number of games I can't put in more time to get further and try to provide feedback on later parts. Also, as a visual novel there's not a lot going on save for the story, so there's little to comment on in the gameplay. That stealing mini-game seems new, though, even if I did it wrong.
For feedback, I figured I'd just aim to catch little things that might have been missed or have bugged out since previous builds. These mostly are related to dialogue, but there's one option that never displayed properly. However, there is one thing: I wish there was more music playing. Many scenes are silent until sound effects come in which, while more realistic to life, makes the experience feel a bit duller.
For the dialogue issues, during the first meeting between Alicia and Thomas are problems stemming from slashes being added to it. I believe these are due to the quotation marks being used in these sentences:
- Alicia: "\'Twould make me a lousy host..."
- Thomas: "\'Tis nothing compared to the field."
I also noticed a lack of punctuation in one line from Will when she chases after Robin, where there should be a comma or perhaps an ellipsis after the first part:
- Will: "Aha perhaps this is a fortuitous meeting..."
The bigger issue that I caught, however, was when the options for how Robin does the three ring shots didn't pop up. This occurs right after Thomas states that everyone is waiting on Robin.
If I get more time, I'll try and play more of this before the event is over and see if I can catch more for you.
