No, this is not malware according to all scans I've made using my software before and after unzipping files that detects these things. I saw your question right before I was going to download it for the first time which I was thinking about trying it and decided I'd test it out for you. And can you tell me what you mean by nothing appeared when you opened it? Did you unzip the file first before trying to open it? Are you using windows? It opened up quite fine and appears to be working just fine.

Very cool, for someone reason the application doesnt open at all for me. But whatever!

Ah, have you redownloaded and reattempted to run the application? That is very odd that it is not working on your end and it shouldn't be a problem at all. Are you sure all the necessary files and folders are there when you try to use it? And did you modify the folder in any way if at all? Sometimes these things can be very finicky with the slightest modification such as simply changing the name of the folder. Yes, it's weird that they can decide to stop functioning properly over folder name changes or just simply reordering files which can also disrupt it. Sometimes files are simply missing in the first attempt of download which can also break applications so sometimes redownloading it(Sometimes you have to do it three times in a row) is the best option. This is at least with my personal experience with how these things may go.
