Yeah, for a payment place, I would reccomend opening a subscribestar, that's what I'm doing in preparation for my next project (gotta work on two at once). As soon as we find other places that comes to replace itch.io we will gladly move out of here. In the end, we need to make sure we have somewhere to go after all.
Things are dark indeed, and if things keeps on like this, what will happen soon is that big corporatiions will use those excuses to control us, we cannot allow that.
The internet should be secure? Yes.
But the parents should be responsible for not using parental controls and making sure their kids are doing the right thing on the net, supervising them, and of course, websites should also make sure to add a flag that would help those parental settings to block those websites in underage OS accounts, but of course it's just easier to fuck everyone else rather than creating a safe system for people to use.
We'll keep fighting, that's all we can do. After all, without fight we can't fuffill our dreams and keep on living with out projects.
