no problem! I’ve tried scheming different ways (like some involving rudimentary turns, attacking, priorities between idols and player cards, or even no card for the opponent at all) but most have come up short, so yeah, I’m working on it! But if you could, what kind of “artificial player” would you recommend? A real AI? A set of “turns” the “player” takes depending on its priority to strike idols or my cards? Perhaps even with the “player” not even having cards (might be tricky)?

I'm not sure. I made this game almost a decade ago now and haven't thought much about it sense, so I don't feel confident I'd know what's best for a solo mode. I would probably recommend researching what approaching people have tried taking for other TCG style games, like MTG, Netrunner, Pokemon, etc. Sorry for not being much help!
