This is a really deep game for 64x64px, wow! I like how the player's ship resembles a Conway's Game of Life "glider" shape, I don't know whether that was intentional but it added another layer to the experience for me, very cool.
now that you're saying it, it actually kinda does like like a glider. Maybe that was a subconscious choice of sort ^^
