Was going to say it reminds me of Mimic Trick and then I saw Veksell worked on that game :)
Very nice presentation, gameplay is clear, visuals are nice, I like how the cannonballs illuminate the ground. There could be a bit more checkpoints, sometimes when you die you go aaaallll the way back, which isn't nice.
As a minor nitpick, the audio shouts of the guards were a bit too loud compared to the music, and the fact that the character doesn't move when you press the button once feels a bit stiff, but it's probably a matter of getting used to it.
