you cannot play old saves on different updates

In fact, yes. You just need to find the save files from your previous version; they're usually located in C:\Users\AppData\LocalLow\AceStudio\SarahsHouse. Copy the save files from the previous update and paste them into the new update folder. Open the game, and your progress should load.

Firstly, thank you for your efforts <3

Moving onwards, I've located the save files for previous install (manual download) however, I've moved to the ITCH app and have re-downloaded you game through it.

The ITCH app downloaded version does not detect the original saves (confirmed to be located in appdata\locallow\acestudio\sarahshouse) and I am so far unable to locate the new saves at all, even though the 2nd copy of the game is saving and loading correctly (just not the original saves).

I'd appreciate any guidance you can provide but don't spend too much of your valuable time on it! I can just go back to the manual install :)

Small edit: I just followed the FAQ video on your discord but sadly no, new information
