Thanks a lot for your feedback ! I'm curious about your keyboard type because I just tried on my azerty and dash worked fine even after remapping. Or maybe you tried to assign a mouse button. Sadly, we acknowledge too late that we didn't allow them.
The dash is actually not available right at the start of the game, you need to obtain it first in order to use it, in a metroidvania fashion. Maybe this was source of confusion ?
