I liked the idea,

I ran on some problem though. Sometime when i killed enemies, and walked over their death animation, I still  took damage.

I found that (and that's one me i only play fast game) that the player was quite slow but fot the game objective it fits quite well forcing you into having to fight instead of running over them. Movement where also a bit floaty such as in the air.

Overall loved the game. Also, I liked that you figured out and cleared issues for the next version.

I will add not processing the collision area of enemies once they are dead or the death animation is playing.

I am also currently looking at updating the platformer character controller to be better as what I released with is pretty basic.
