I am in the quest slave to love and chose to hide the diary. Now I'm supposed to talk to madeline, but there's never a prompt to further the quest, and the marker for where to go for quests points towards missy's room. Am I missing something here or is the quest bugged?

Is this right at the start of the quest or after recovering the journal?

I hid the diary so i never lost it in the first place, but it's after discovering who she really is, and now i can't confront her on it even tho thats my quest

Oh, I see, so you skipped the quest. I haven't tested that in a while, but I've just had a look and it does seem to be bugged. I'll get that fixed for the next release, but in the meantime, you can still do everything with her that you'd be able to do afterwards anyway if you talk to her.
