finally finished playing through this game, (including every possible ending,) and... Wow. like, damn, that was really really really really fucking good!!!! there's so much i want to say about it but that requires me to figure out from more than raw joyous feelings what i want to even say in the first place!
it took me about forty hours, going by the final stats and including all the time lost to stuff i undid and pursued from another save, etcetc.
...it was REALLY really REALLY worth those forty hours; by any means, it 100% was and i'm very glad for that. it was such a good time 😭!!!! i feel some melancholy now that i'm Done Everything and all, but like, now i have a four-game backlog by yall to go and devour at my own pace (in which i want to start from the oldest and work back to alouette from there, by the by (alouette take 2 counts as the fourth ;3)), and that's an AWESOME feeling
i really loved this game. i think it's one of my top games this year, maybe even my personal pick for game of the year (out of what I've played this year). i admittedly havent played too much that came out this year, but alouette might be standing atop them all even still. god, it's so good.
alsooooo i noticed a lil oopsie and one-or-two typos to contribute as bug reports:
- when you transform whilst walking into a map-transition-tile, the transition doesn't actually trigger and you can walk off it freely. this doesn't really cause any problems, but it Does let you walk around in the void surrounding the CoGro interior map, cus theres no invisible wall stopping you (until you walk back into the arrow to leave). probably works on any similar interior maps too
- in the true ending, mercy forgets the second i in Evangelii during role call
- also in the true ending, it says 'all accept Lasca' which only Might be a typo, im not sure, ehehe. would probably be 'all except' if that wasn't an intentional choice
p.s. is there an official lyrics thingme for Under the Lighthouse? i can't make out certain words
