I used to want them back. I would have suffered anything to bring them back. I know better now. They were the lucky and brave ones. They managed to stop being raped and tortured and enslaved and abused by this dystopian hellscape in the only way there is to do so on your own terms, while there's still some of you left. I used to think that there was some way to resist the bigots who want me and my kind dead but there isn't.
Survive to be their toy, die as their punchline. We can't hurt them in any way that matters. Not by ourselves. And we are always by ourselves. the most "progressive" politicians out there throw us under the bus and stab us in the back, hospitals that used to give trans kids the care they need to live make the "difficult choices" amd let us die, every "ally" is just a ticking bomb. its only a matter of time before here and everywhere else on the internet caves and brands even aknowledging our existance as not "family-friendly"
No one with power gives a shit and no one who gives a shit will ever be allowed power. I just hope that I manage to stop being useless to do it before I have to watch much longer.
