In the dev suggestions, it says that to get the most out of the jam, you ought to contact some streamers who may be interested in similar genres to your game. What's the best way of doing this? I don't think itch.io or twitch have direct messaging, and I don't have many social media accounts.

Don't worry about that now - that was something for devs to do when the page was launched months ago.. If you are looking to reach out to streamers Discord and their individual twitch chats are usually the best way to show support. Just get your game ready because submissions are due in about a week. Good luck!
