Many ISPs will... send copyright infringement notices (cease-and-desist letters) based on alerts from content owners, uhhhh, often leading to temporary service suspension or termination.
(I am kinda late... i don't check my notifications that much)
Copyright holders can uhhhhh sue you for damages, WHICH can range from thousands to MILLIONS of dollars...
and uh that's probably it yeah, i'm def a yapper... (and a dumbass 6 months ago)
