It’s unlimited — the second time you see the option “Repeat it,” just go for it. I’ve done it loads of times, and now I’ve got 70 respect from Akira.

It's not as soon as you reach certain number of repeats, it forces you to choose the other choice, (the one forces you to be punished back).

Well I tried it today? And this is the choice I am force to take. There is no back button on my part. So I am force to click the "Let him take his revenge" choice. This is the proof.

Force to take the choice, no back button whatsoever unless you reload the game.

I don’t know, are you further in the game? I restarted so I’m not that far, I’m up against the Warlord right now, and maybe that’s why the option disappeared when I went back to Akira.

Still grinding on Galiano's beat up the Cyber-thugs, cause that's the easier enemy compare to the newly upgraded Sub'Guhnirs.
