Unfortunately the fight continues. They have still succeeded at cutting our funding on itch, and Patreon will be next. Once this happens, there will be no way for anyone to fund these projects and they will all die. So make your voice heard now!
Voices don't matter in the fight. It's already over, and you're right, Patreon is next. So what do you plan to do? Will you still complete the game, or will the project have to end? You've done a remarkable job, but of course we all have bills to pay. No matter what, of the AVN industry, HH is legend. If you do have to end it, my suggestion is to share your roadmap for what could have been, just post the rest of the story for your diehard fans so that everyone can get closure.
Voices absolutely do matter, but only when those voices are backed up by action. You are not a nobody with an inability to affect the world. All it takes it one seed to eventually plant a forest.
Most of us live in some form of a democracy, meaning the people have a certain amount of power to change the world they live in.
But here's the thing, Visa, Mastercard, and Paypal were not even aware this was happening. They repeat "Any legal content is totally fine by us." Meaning they don't actually mind that we make money. So what's going on? Collective Shout used those CEOs signatures to scare itch and steam.
So, the more of us make a stink about this and call those companies, the more annoyed they're going to be at Collective Shout for using their names to harm their own business. This only works if we tell them what's going on.
Anyway, I've been planning to release a SFW story only version of this game for years now. If that can support me, then it's easy to continue work on this version as well.
I don't disagree with you, but MasterCard and Visa (in particular) had been putting pressure on Japanese manga, anime and game producers ways before Collective Shout came around. It's important that people put pressure on them as well.... especially knowing how they were official partners of Roblox.
But I really love your game, so I support whatever decision you make to see it to completion.
