These magic users would fit in really well with Jack Vance's wacky wizards. Top marks on theme and writing.
The art-ful version is quite hard to read, and I don't think the design supports the writing much. But you thoughtfully included a printer friendly version--I will indeed be printing this one out to keep/hopefully play!
