Yeah it’s like a couple hundred objects with circle colliders that are made to follow one another with line renderers for the visuals. When we detect a collision between the boat and the rope we create a polygon collider for 1 frame and set its vertices to the positions of every segment of rope until we reach the boat. Then a mesh renderer is created with the texture of the net and the shape of the collider is plugged in as its mesh. Finally all fish in collision with the polygon collider are caught and added to the inventory. Thanks for your interest and the kind words!
