The visual presentation and art in this VN are both absolutely phenomenal from start to finish~! Everything from the animations on the portraits, to the scrolling simulated social media feed, all the way down to the icons switching between a mouse and keys depending on your last input; I was blown away by the amount of care put into the visuals here~!
I felt so terrible for poor Rissa; I've been in similar mental places myself in the past, what with her intense repression, sex repulsion, and self-loathing that wraps back around into something like misanthropy, so her character really stood out to me.
Still, for as powerful as the flashbacks to Rissa's past were, I found myself wanting to know more about just how, exactly, she and everyone else ended up at this School That Kills You—and for that matter, what precisely it is that the researchers in the larger facility are investigating, and what the references to extremely long periods of elapsed time truly mean for our girls. We're given many questions but very few answers...
Perhaps all will be revealed in the sequel? I suppose I'll have to keep an eye out for it; but for now, great work on this one~
