Any chance we'll get an upload compatible with the Itch launcher? It'd make keeping up with updates as a player much easier. If you need a larger upload max for a game you can contact Itch to increase your max, I think.

Sorry, but it's not likely. Having files be stored externally makes it so that we have control over how much storage we use without all the back and forth with itch. It's easiest for everyone involved if we just have it external.
If you want the best way to keep up with updates, consider following Itch, Discord, Patreon, or all three. Sorry I couldn't help ya :(

Thank you so much for at least looking into it! The Itch launcher is mostly great for actually doing the update. The keeping up with the news is not the problem, but updating the game itself with itch is just much easier from a user perspective, especially since Itch can auto-update the games in some cases.
