If still by aiming with your mouse that could be possibile. Why would you want this feature?
It's standard keypress for dash, so it's better for muscle memory. There's no reason to change defaults, unless you have a good reason to.
in the future we plan on more abilities, and space is reserved for one of them, but we also plan on adding key rebindings :D
