Embrace the suck. Also build poison resist, make sure that Florentina doesn't attack on the first turn/combat start, has defense. You need to knock out one fairly quickly because they will eventually win the damage race. As I recall the bee's easier to take down. The important thing is to have the poison resist because the Alraune does more damage when she consumes the poison Dot. It was perhaps the evilest thing I've ever done.
