I want to add a quick end-of-night option and use the leftover time for the base score calculation.

This idea would contradict to the general idea of the game and the difficulty level itself.
You see, right now it's "high risk - high reward" system, where you have a limited time, during which you're supposed to do as many interactions as you can, to gain credits. Of course the difficulty rises as there's the wakefulness meter each action contributes to. If you fail you lose everything if you're careful and manage to finish the night, you get credits.
If dev were to make the base score evaluated by leftover time then instead of interacting with the girl, you'd want to end the night as soon as it starts - so you'll be rewarded for doing literally nothing as opposed to what is currently - you get nothing for doing nothing and avoiding the risk of getting caught.
This game is hard and punishing, kinda like souls-likes, but pixelated and revolving around sex, but I'd say it's fair.
